Export Nepali Document as PDF — Browser-Side Guide

नेपाली डकुमेन्टलाई पीडीएफमा निर्यात

Exporting a Nepali document as PDF preserves your formatting and Devanagari font so the file looks identical on every device, prints reliably and is searchable by Google. TypeNepal's Documents and Letter Creator tools both produce PDFs locally in your browser.

Why export to PDF?

PDF preserves exact layout, embeds fonts so recipients don't need them installed, prints reliably and is searchable for both humans and AI engines. It is the universal format for official Nepali documents — applications, letters, certificates, reports.

How does TypeNepal generate the PDF?

Inside the Documents tool, click Download and choose PDF. A client-side PDF library converts your formatted Devanagari text and embedded font into a PDF file in your browser. The file downloads directly — no server upload, no waiting for a remote service.

Does the PDF embed the Devanagari font?

Yes. The selected Unicode Devanagari font is subset and embedded inside the PDF so recipients see the same typography regardless of which fonts they have installed. This makes the PDF self-contained and portable.

How do I check the PDF will print correctly?

Preview the PDF in a viewer like Adobe Acrobat or your browser's PDF viewer. Check page breaks, font rendering and any images. Print a test page on your printer to confirm — Devanagari rendering occasionally differs between viewer and printer drivers.
