Hindi voice typing online lets you speak Hindi into your browser and have the speech transcribed into Unicode Devanagari Hindi text in real time. It uses the same Web Speech API as Nepali voice typing but with Hindi as the recognition language.
How is Hindi voice typing different from Nepali?
The user interface and workflow are identical. Behind the scenes the browser switches its language model to hi-IN (Hindi India). Pronunciation, vocabulary and idiom matching are tuned to Hindi, so dictation of Hindi-specific words is more accurate than using a Nepali model.
Which browsers support Hindi voice typing?
Chrome and Edge offer the best Hindi recognition, on both desktop and Android. Safari supports Hindi voice on macOS and iOS with strong results. Firefox does not currently implement the Web Speech API for production use.
How do I switch the recognition language to Hindi?
Open the Voice Typing tool, find the language dropdown in the toolbar and select Hindi. Click the microphone and start speaking Hindi naturally — the transcription appears in Devanagari script in the editor.
Can I mix Hindi and English while dictating?
Code-mixing is common in spoken Hindi. The recognition engine handles short English words inserted into Hindi sentences (Hinglish) reasonably well, though pure English passages should switch the language to en-US for best accuracy.
